Section 179 Deduction: Maximize Your 2024 Tax Savings

If you’re a business owner looking to upgrade your equipment, now is the perfect time to take advantage of the Section 179 tax deduction for 2024. This valuable incentive allows businesses to deduct the full purchase price of qualifying equipment and software in the year it’s purchased, offering significant tax savings.

How Can Section 179 Help Your Business Thrive in 2024?

1. Immediate Expense Deduction
With Section 179, you can write off the entire cost of qualifying equipment in the year it was purchased, instead of spreading the deduction over several years through depreciation. This gives you immediate tax savings and helps reduce your taxable income for the current year.

2. Boost Cash Flow
By deducting the full cost of equipment upfront, more cash stays in your business. Whether you’re looking to reinvest in operations, hire additional staff, or manage debt, Section 179 provides financial flexibility when you need it most.

3. Encourages Growth and Investment
Section 179 not only reduces your tax liability but also incentivizes investment. This is a great time to upgrade your equipment, invest in new technology, and enhance your productivity and competitiveness. The deduction makes it easier for businesses to make large purchases that would otherwise be delayed.

4. 2024 Deduction Limits
For the 2024 tax year, businesses can deduct up to $1,220,000 on qualifying equipment purchases, with a spending cap set at $3,050,000. This means any equipment purchases up to this amount can be fully written off, while larger purchases may still qualify for partial deductions.

Why is Now the Perfect Time to Buy?

If you’ve been thinking about upgrading your fleet or adding new equipment to your lineup, now is the time to act. Taking advantage of Section 179 in 2024 means you can immediately reduce your taxable income, keeping more money in your business.

At FleetNow, we offer a wide selection of high-quality, fully inspected heavy equipment that qualifies for the Section 179 deduction. From scissor lifts to boom lifts and skid steers, we have the machinery you need to keep your operations running smoothly—and tax-efficiently!

Diesel vs. Natural Gas Generators: Which Is Right For You? https://buyfleetnow.com/news/diesel-vs-natural-gas-generators https://buyfleetnow.com/news/diesel-vs-natural-gas-generators#respond Mon, 30 Sep 2024 19:00:08 +0000 https://buyfleetnow.com/?p=31439

Diesel vs. Natural Gas Generators: Which Is Right For You?

When it comes to powering your business or home during an outage, choosing the right generator can make a significant difference. Among the most popular options are diesel and natural gas generators. Each has its own advantages and disadvantages, depending on your needs, budget, and environmental considerations.

1. Fuel Availability & Cost

  • Diesel Generators: Diesel fuel is widely available and can be stored on-site, making diesel generators a reliable choice during emergencies when fuel supplies might be disrupted. However, diesel fuel can fluctuate in price and may be more expensive than natural gas, especially in regions with high demand.
  • Natural Gas Generators: Natural gas generators are connected to the local utility’s gas lines, meaning you don’t have to worry about storing fuel. As long as the gas supply isn’t interrupted, your generator will keep running. Natural gas is typically more affordable than diesel, but in areas where gas infrastructure is limited, this may not be an option.

2. Performance & Efficiency

  • Diesel Generators: Diesel engines are known for their durability and ability to run for extended periods under heavy loads. They’re highly efficient at converting fuel into power, especially for large-scale applications. However, diesel generators tend to be louder and can produce higher emissions compared to natural gas generators.
  • Natural Gas Generators: Natural gas generators are quieter and burn cleaner than their diesel counterparts, making them more environmentally friendly. However, they might not perform as well under high-demand situations. For smaller or residential applications, natural gas can be a great option, but for industrial use, diesel may offer better efficiency.

3. Environmental Impact

  • Diesel Generators: Diesel fuel emits more carbon dioxide (CO2), nitrogen oxides (NOx), and particulate matter than natural gas. This makes diesel generators a less eco-friendly option, especially for those trying to reduce their carbon footprint. That said, advancements in cleaner diesel technology and after-treatment systems have helped reduce some of these emissions.
  • Natural Gas Generators: Natural gas burns cleaner, producing fewer harmful emissions. While it’s still a fossil fuel, it’s considered a better option for the environment than diesel. For businesses and homeowners who prioritize sustainability, natural gas may be the preferred choice.

4. Maintenance Requirements

  • Diesel Generators: Diesel generators require regular maintenance, including oil changes, fuel filter replacements, and routine inspections of the engine and exhaust system. The cost of maintenance can add up, but diesel engines are generally long-lasting if properly maintained.
  • Natural Gas Generators: Natural gas generators also require maintenance, but less frequently than diesel models. They don’t have the same wear and tear from fuel combustion, meaning the upkeep might be easier. However, natural gas engines may need specific repairs or attention to gas supply components that diesel generators don’t require.

5. Installation & Space Requirements

  • Diesel Generators: Diesel generators tend to be bulkier, and you’ll need space to store fuel on-site. Depending on the size of the unit, diesel generators can require a dedicated location with proper ventilation.
  • Natural Gas Generators: Since natural gas is delivered via pipelines, there’s no need to allocate extra space for fuel storage. Natural gas generators are often smaller and more compact, making them easier to install in residential or tight commercial spaces.

5. Reliability

  • Diesel Generators: Diesel generators have a reputation for being highly reliable, especially in remote areas where natural gas infrastructure isn’t available. As long as you have diesel fuel stored, you can ensure power during outages. However, fuel degradation over time can be an issue if you don’t rotate your fuel stock.
  • Natural Gas Generators: The reliability of natural gas generators depends on the local utility grid. If there is a disruption to the gas supply, your generator won’t function. However, for areas with robust gas infrastructure, natural gas generators can be highly reliable.

Which Generator Is Best For You?

When to Choose a Diesel Generator:

  • You need a generator for heavy-duty or industrial use.
  • You’re in a remote area where natural gas isn’t available.
  • You prefer storing fuel on-site for emergencies.
  • You don’t mind a bit of extra noise or maintenance in exchange for reliability.

When to Choose a Natural Gas Generator:

  • You’re looking for an eco-friendly and quieter option.
  • You have access to a natural gas pipeline and want to avoid fuel storage.
  • Your application is for residential or light commercial use.
  • You prioritize lower emissions and fuel costs.

FAQs About Diesel & Natural Gas Generators

What are the main differences between diesel and natural gas generators?

Diesel generators run on diesel fuel, are highly efficient for heavy loads, and are generally more durable. Natural gas generators run on natural gas from pipelines, are quieter, produce fewer emissions, and are often used in residential or light commercial applications.

Which type of generator is more environmentally friendly?

Natural gas generators are more environmentally friendly because they produce fewer carbon emissions and pollutants compared to diesel generators.

Are diesel generators more expensive than natural gas generators?

Diesel generators usually have higher upfront costs due to their robust engines and larger power output capabilities. However, natural gas generators might require more expensive installation if a natural gas connection is not already available.

What happens to a natural gas generator during a gas supply outage?

If the natural gas supply is interrupted, the generator will stop running. This is one disadvantage of natural gas generators compared to diesel, which can run as long as there is fuel stored on-site.

Which generator is more reliable during emergencies?

Diesel generators are generally considered more reliable in emergencies because they don’t depend on utility infrastructure. As long as you have a supply of diesel fuel, the generator will run.

Another praised the seat comfort, calling it “the best seat of any loader that I have operated.” They noted the seat’s multiple lumbar adjustments, high back, and significant travel fore and aft, not to mention the added bonus of a heated seat. These ergonomic features contribute to operator comfort and reduce fatigue over long shifts.

How to Buy a Used Towable Boom Lift https://buyfleetnow.com/news/how-to-buy-a-used-towable-boom-lift https://buyfleetnow.com/news/how-to-buy-a-used-towable-boom-lift#respond Wed, 18 Sep 2024 09:02:07 +0000 https://buyfleetnow.com/?p=22959

How to Buy a Used Towable Boom Lift

When thinking about buying a used towable boom lift, several factors come into play. These machines are helpful for reaching high places, making tasks like tree trimming, painting, and maintenance easier and safer. However, before making a purchase, one should consider its condition, age, and any prior damage or repairs. Opting for a used towable boom lift can be a cost-effective choice for businesses or individuals needing height access without the hefty price tag of a brand-new unit.

Benefits of Buying and Owning a Used Towable Boom Lift

Used towable boom lifts, also referred to as tow-behind or trailer-mounted boom lifts, are valuable assets on many job sites. Towable booms offer the mobility of a small utility vehicle and the reach of a self-propelled lift platform. Other benefits include:

  • Reach and Mobility: They give operators the ability to reach high places and they have on-the-go mobility. The shorter the reach height, the easier the maneuverability when towing the lift.
  • Lightweight Design: This ensures they can function in areas unsuitable for heavier lifts.
  • User-Friendly: Designed with simplicity, making operations straightforward.
  • Easy Transportation: Users can conveniently transport the boom lift, eliminating additional delivery costs.
  • Cost-Effective: Presents a more budget-friendly option compared to regular boom lifts.

To the right, you’ll see a comparison of the general specs of a towable lift vs a regular boom lift. Note the difference in weight and ground bearing pressure:

What Should I Look for When Buying a Used Towable Boom Lift?

Besides making sure you are buying the right size lift for your project(s), there are several other factors to consider. If you are buying from a rental yard or equipment dealer, ask to see the inspection reports for the lift. They will show all regular maintenance and inspections, plus any issues or repairs that have been needed in the past.

John Cossick, from OHR Rents in Cleveland, OH, turns to JLGs when buying towable booms. “They are more durable and tend to be less finicky than other brands,” says Cossick. The JLG T500J and the JLG T350 have performed well in OHR’s rental fleet. He also looks for features like self-leveling and self-propelled towable lifts so they can be moved easily once on the jobsite.

The oldest towable boom lift for sale on FleetNow is a 2009 Genie TZ-34/20

When buying a used towable boom lift, consider the year, number of hours, and overall condition (the inspection reports will help with that).

The oldest towable boom lift available through FleetNow as of August of 2023, for example, is this 2009 Genie TZ-34/20 with only 120 hours for $24,900.

The towable lift with the highest number of hours is this 2016 Bil-Jax 5533A

The towable with the highest hours on FleetNow is a 2016 Bil-Jax 5533A with 2,823 hours, which has a sale price of $35,200.

Note: It’s entirely acceptable to ask for detailed photos of all 4 tires, control panel, meter, motor, and of any damage to the lift you’re thinking about buying. Don’t forget to compare the meter readings in the photo to the meter reading advertised. Here are some examples of photos you should expect to receive:

Always ask for a photo of the current meter on the towable lift you want to buy

What Sizes Are Available for Used Towable Boom Lifts?

The size of a towable boom lift is often described in terms of its maximum platform height or working height. Here are some general categories based on working height:

  • 30-35 Feet: Common for smaller tasks, suitable for residential or light commercial use.
  • 40-50 Feet: A more versatile range for commercial applications, including building maintenance, tree trimming, and construction tasks.
  • 50-70 Feet: Used for more demanding jobs that require extended reach, like higher building maintenance or advanced construction projects.

While the working height gives an idea of how high the platform can extend, the horizontal reach might vary based on the model. Some models offer a jib or an articulating arm, providing better versatility in reaching challenging spots.

In addition to height, potential buyers should consider lift capacity, stabilization options, and any additional features that might be necessary for specific tasks.

How Much do Used Towable Boom Lifts Cost?

The cost of used towable boom lifts varies for a few reasons, including size, age, condition, brand, model, and any additional features they might have. Here are some general ranges to give you an idea of what to expect based on platform heights:

  • Small Lifts (30-35 feet): These could range from $18,000 to $45,000.
    • For example, the average retail price of a 2023 JLG T350 is $37,264 on buyfleetnow.com. In comparison, a 2017 JLG T350 averages $27,425.
    • Here are a couple examples from FleetNow:

  • Medium Towable Lifts (40-50 feet): These typically fall in the $17,500 to $60,000 range depending on the condition and age of the lift. You can find a like-new 2023 JLG T500J online for $59,900 and a 2011 T500J for $22,900.
  • Larger Towable Lifts (50-70 feet): These might cost between $29,500 and $69,900 or more, depending on the model and features.

Remember, these are just general estimates, and prices can fluctuate based on the local market, demand, and other factors.

Where Can I Buy Used Towable Boom Lifts?

You can buy a used towable boom lift for your rental yard or business from other local equipment dealers or rental yards, online marketplaces, from the manufacturer, or from an online auction.

What Type of Vehicle Can I Use to Transport a Used Towable Boom Lift?

Towable boom lifts are designed to be transported easily using a variety of vehicles. However, the type of vehicle you should use largely depends on the size and weight of the boom lift. Here are some general guidelines:

Small to Medium Lifts (up to 50 feet):

  • Most can be towed by standard full-sized pickups or SUVs with a towing package.
  • Ensure the vehicle’s towing capacity exceeds the combined weight of the boom lift.
  • The 34′ JLG T350 weighs 3,400lb, for reference.

Larger Lifts (50-70 feet and up):

  • Heavy-duty pickup trucks or larger commercial vehicles might be required.
  • These lifts are heavier and may require a vehicle with a greater towing capacity.
  • The 56′ JLG T500J weighs 4,800lb.

General Considerations:

  • Ensure you have the right hitch type and size. A common hitch for many towable boom lifts is a ball hitch, but some might require a pintle hitch, especially for heavier models.
  • Check the vehicle’s brakes. Towable boom lifts can be heavy, and it’s crucial that your vehicle has adequate braking power.
  • Use safety chains and ensure all lights and indicators on the trailer are functioning correctly.

Before transporting any towable boom lift, always refer to the lift’s manual and the towing vehicle’s specifications. Ensuring you match the weight and requirements will ensure safety on the road.

Here are some common pickup truck models and their towing capacity:

Used Towable Boom Lifts in Florida
Make & Model Max Towing Capacity Configuration
Ford F-150 14,000 pounds 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6
Chevrolet Silverado 1500 13,300 pounds 3.0-liter turbodiesel, double cab, 2WD, max trailering package, and 20-inch wheels

Buying A Used Scissor Lift: 4 Questions You Should Ask https://buyfleetnow.com/news/buying-used-scissor-lift https://buyfleetnow.com/news/buying-used-scissor-lift#respond Wed, 18 Sep 2024 09:00:48 +0000 https://buyfleetnow.com/?p=13920

Buying A Used Scissor Lift: 4 Questions You Should Ask

Buying a new scissor lift or renting a lift for an extended period of time can be costly. Long lead times have also become an issue on many models. Buying a used scissor lift is a cost-effective alternative to renting or buying new. Not only will it save you money, but you can end up with a lift that’s ideal for your needs.

Make sure to ask the seller the following 4 questions to help ensure that you’re getting a good lift that has been properly maintained:

1. How has this scissor lift been maintained?

One benefit of buying a used lift from a rental yard, is that it’s pretty easy to find out if the lift has been properly maintained.

When asked how a piece of equipment is maintained, the seller should tell you that quarterly and annual inspections have been conducted. In addition, rental yards will inspect their machines before each rental to ensure their lifts are in good condition while on job sites.

Most companies do not provide years of service records because it can take a great deal of time to pull and reproduce sometimes hundreds of pages of records. Instead, request the most recent annual inspection report for the most up-to-date equipment details.

2. What condition are the tires in?

Tires can be expensive to replace. While some wear and tear on the tires is fine, make sure the lift does not vibrate when moving as a result of the tires’ condition. Also check for any structural damage like flat spots, cracks, or bubbles in the sidewalls.

3. When were the batteries replaced, and how do you maintain them?

Batteries need to be replaced every few years; however, properly maintained batteries will last longer than batteries that aren’t maintained regularly. Batteries should be maintained by:

  • Charging them fully
  • Adding distilled water as needed
  • Watching for and cleaning any visible debris or corrosion
  • Measuring and retaining hydrometer readings
  • Verifying all connections are tight and secure

Ask the seller to send you photos of the batteries. Look for debris or any corrosion as a sign that it has not been properly maintained.

Note: If you’re buying a lift that’s priced under market value, it’s likely that you’ll need to replace the battery and perform additional repairs and maintenance.

4. Are there any leaks that cause puddling?

Minor leaks or “oil saturation” is not unusual on scissor lifts. However, any leaks that cause puddling should be acknowledged and addressed. Seals, control valves, cylinders, hydraulic hoses & filters, and loose nuts can all cause leaks.

Major leaks can be expensive and dangerous. For example, oil leaks can cause overheating, the oil can catch on fire, they can be an indicator of a bigger problem, and they can cause costly downtime.

When you are looking at a scissor lift for sale, the answers to the questions above will help you make an informed decision before you buy. Be sure to download the Used Scissor Lift Inspection Report to ensure the machine you buy is right for you.

The Complete John Deere Wheel Loader Guide: Models, Features, and Buying Tips https://buyfleetnow.com/news/john-deere-wheel-loader https://buyfleetnow.com/news/john-deere-wheel-loader#respond Mon, 16 Sep 2024 09:00:59 +0000 https://buyfleetnow.com/?p=26190

The Complete John Deere Wheel Loader Guide: Models, Features, and Buying Tips

John Deere Wheel Loaders are easy to operate and can do a tremendous amount of work on a construction site, a farm, or an industrial cleanup site. If you need to transport raw material from a demolition site, haul sand for a fill-in project, or simply dig a hole, a wheel loader is the tool to get the job done. You might also hear this vehicle referred to as a front-end loader, a payloader, or a loading machine. They all do the same thing with the attached bucket on the front end: Haul materials from Point A to Point B on your job site with as little effort as possible.

Why Choose A John Deere Wheel Loader?

The compact size of a John Deere wheel loader is one of its biggest selling points. The vehicle is extremely maneuverable in tight quarters, eliminating the need for as many three-point turns. This also offers faster loading and unloading cycles. The latest versions of the John Deer wheel loader have a pressurized cab with louvers and defrosters to keep the glass clear. A 360-degree field of view offers a clear view in every direction.

Preset configurations at the touch of a button allow the pilot of a John Deere wheel loader to speed up production in repetitive loading patterns. Set return-to-carry height, return-to-dig, boom height kick-out, and other options can all be set with simple controls. You’d expect nothing less from a company that’s been in business since 1837. John Deere’s equipment speaks for itself after providing top-quality equipment for nearly 200 years.

John Deere Wheel Loader Models & Specs

John Deere has eliminated the X-Tier of wheel loaders in this current generation, leaving the G-Tier and P-Tier as the two available models. Among the six loaders available, the biggest differences are in horsepower (44 hp to 103 hp) and operating weight (10,670 lbs. to 19,533 lbs.). Bucket capacities can range from 1 to 3 cubic yards. The powerful front-end hydraulics on John Deere wheel loaders allow a huge range of attachments to be used, increasing productivity and versatility.

Key Features of John Deere Wheel Loaders

The main features of the current generation of John Deere wheel loaders are the easy push-button controls for the lift arm and more than 100 John Deere attachments that can be easily affixed to the machine. John Deere uses a universal Quik-Tatch™ system that allows the operator to quickly and efficiently switch out attachments for different applications. You can accomplish much more than simple loading and hauling with John Deere attachments, which include:

• Bale huggers, bale spears, nursery forks, and rollout buckets
• Augers and trenchers
• Backhoes
• Dozer blades, snow blades, V-blades, and box blades
• Angle brooms and pickup brooms
• Multipurpose buckets, rock buckets, utility buckets and more
• Rotary cutters, rotary brush cutters, stump shredders, and mulching heads
• Pallet forks
• Hammers
• Cold planers
• Plate compactors
• Power rakes, root rakes, and rotary tillers
• Vibratory rollers
• Snow blowers and snow pushers

Applications and Uses of John Deere Wheel Loaders

The primary uses for a John Deere wheel loader are agricultural and general construction. However, with the right attachments, this compact wheel loader can be used year-round for a variety of projects. Wheel loaders can be used in road construction, materials hauling, landscaping, brush clearing, digging, and much more. John Deere’s Quik-Tatch™ system has been around for decades, so it’s possible to find attachments that date back many years that will still fit a new wheel loader.

Buying Guide

Factors to Consider When Choosing a Model
Size and horsepower are really the main considerations when buying a wheel loader from John Deere. It may be tempting to buy a smaller model initially because of the cost savings. However, if you plan to expand your business in the future and might need a more robust model, it might make sense to bite the bullet and purchase a larger one now. Remember that horsepower is about more than just speed on the road; it also affects how much you are able to lift and carry with a wheel loader.

New vs. Used Options
John Deere wheel loaders don’t depreciate a lot when they are properly maintained. It’s possible to find used versions from the early 1990s that still cost more than a used car. This speaks to the high quality of these machines. A used machine is also going to be cheaper to insure. A new wheel loader is likely to require less maintenance than a used one, so it will save you money on up-front costs. Keep in mind that there are many discontinued wheel loaders that are still on the market. This can make sourcing parts for a used wheel loader difficult sometimes, but not impossible.

Financing and Warranty Options
John Deere offers in-house financing, and approved dealers will usually rely on that when selling a new wheel loader. The warranty on a new John Deere wheel loader is generally 24 months so long as it is used for personal use by a private owner. For all other applications and uses, the warranty is 12 months on parts, drivetrains, and engines.

Maintenance and Care

The maintenance schedule for a John Deere wheel loader is straightforward and should be in the operator’s manual when you purchase it. In general, various filters need to be replaced after every 500 hours of operation. This includes the engine oil filter, primary and secondary fuel filter, front PTO, and air filters. The transmission oil filter should be replaced after the first 100 hours of use, and every 500 hours after that.

Customer Testimonials

When comparing John Deere wheel loaders to their CAT counterparts, real-world operators have shared insightful opinions in forums like Red Power Magazine. Here’s what users had to say when discussing their experience with both brands:

One operator noted, “The Deere was by far the better loader, although it was a tad bigger. The Deere had a roomier cab, service points were a lot easier to get at, and overall just a lot nicer to operate. Not saying the CAT wasn’t a good loader, it just wasn’t as nice as the Deere.”

Others echoed similar sentiments, praising the smooth handling and comfort of John Deere loaders. “The Deere is a very nice driving machine,” remarked one user, while another pointed out the convenience of the controls, stating, “Deere has a nice joystick/reverser.”

These reviews highlight why many operators prefer John Deere for its operator-friendly features, ease of maintenance, and overall driving experience.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is the price range for John Deere wheel loaders?

A new 184 G-Tier starts at around $82,000. The largest model, the 344 P-Tier, starts at around $200,000. Used models will obviously cost less, but buyers should do a thorough inspection and check the number of hours on the engine before purchasing.

How do I select the right model for my specific needs?

With the huge variety of attachments that John Deere sells, any model has the ability to perform many different functions. Selecting the correct model then comes down to how much lift capacity you need. The smaller versions of wheel loaders can handle a load capacity of around 1,000 pounds, depending on the type of bucket attached. The largest version of wheel loader can safely handle up to 10,000 pounds of materials.

Are there financing options available for purchasing John Deere wheel loaders?

John Deere Financing will usually provide the best option for purchasing a new wheel loader. FleetNow can help with financing options for used Wheel Loaders.

What maintenance schedule should I follow for John Deere loaders?

Refer to your owner’s manual to learn the proper maintenance schedule for a wheel loader. In general, certain parts and filters should be swapped out or replaced every 100 to 500 hours. Certain parts can operate for up to 1,500 hours without needing maintenance or replacement.

Are there training programs or certifications for operating John Deere wheel loaders?

Yes. John Deere offers certification on its equipment, and local schools across the country do so as well. Certification usually requires a few hours of in-classroom instruction and a written test, followed by a hands-on skills testing session on a machine.

The MT100 Bobcat mini track loader is a versatile little workhorse that can tackle a variety of different construction and landscaping jobs. Why not take the manual labor out of many tasks by letting a mini track loader do the heavy lifting? The Bobcat MT100 is so small that it can fit through a doorway, but sturdy enough to carry up to 1,000 pounds of material. This handy little machine also has a nice range of custom Bobcat attachments to perform different functions. Keep reading for FleetNow’s Bobcat MT100 in depth review and buying tips.

Why Choose the Bobcat MT100 Mini Track Loader?

The Bobcat MT100 mini track loader is an ideal tool for construction, landscaping and other job types that require manual labor in a tight workspace. This modernized mini-track loader can replace wheelbarrows and other manual labor tools on the job site, while preventing injuries to your workforce due to lifting heavy loads. The Bobcat MT100 is perfect for digging, material moving, backfilling, trenching and other job site tasks, while remaining small enough to fit through a doorway.

Let the MT100 do the heavy lifting on your worksite! This little skid steer loader is rated with a lifting capacity of 1,000 pounds. Standard models come with counterweights that can attach to the undercarriage or at the rear of the lifter for increased performance and stability. Previous iterations of skid steer loaders used to require daily maintenance on the undercarriage. That’s a thing of the past with the new, durable Bobcat MT mini track loader.

The average human footprint exerts 16 psi on the ground. The Bobcat MT100 is so well designed that it only exerts 5.25 psi, making it suitable for grass, turf, established surfaces and even concrete. That’s with the standard-sized tracks which make the machine just 36 inches wide. A larger track makes the footprint even smaller, at 3.97 psi. The wider track brings the machine’s width to just under 41 inches. Even sensitive surfaces are virtually undisturbed by the MT100 because of its superior design and weight distribution.

People love the low maintenance required for the Bobcat MT100 mini track loader. Simply lift the hood to perform tool-free tasks like checking and refilling coolant, diesel fuel, engine oil and fluids.
