Wacker Neuson Unveils Two New Models
LAS VEGAS – Wacker Neuson unveils two new models in the company’s loader lineup. The SM60 and the SM120 will join the SM100, the first of Wacker Neuson’s utility track loaders.
Designed for light site work, auguring, material handling or landscaping these step-up and go concept machines makes this series some of the easiest mini skid steers to operate on the market today.
“We’ve added to our range of stand-up skid steers, which was one of our most exciting launches, Gert Reichetseder, president and CEO of Wacker Neuson America Corporation, says referring to the release of the first model, the SM100 over a year ago. “We have built to date more than 1,000 [SM100] units in not even one year, and we are ramping up because the demand has been very positive.”
The SM100 has a 1,000 pound rated operating capacity at 35% and has standard 9 inch wide tracks with an overall machine width of 35.5 in. The SM60 has a 600 pound rated operating capacity at 35% with a machine width of 35.5 inches. The biggest of the series is the SM120 with an operating capacity of 1,226 pounds at 35% with wide, 11 inch tracks.
Along with the unveiling of the two new utility track loaders, Wacker Neuson is featuring its new EZ17e, a 1.7 ton battery powered excavator.
