Lifts For Artists Supports and Encourages Local Artwork and Cultural Events

Rental Yards:

Connect with your community to provide the lifts needed to produce public artwork and cultural events at special rates.

Artists & Event Planners:

Save money on the production of creative projects and events by getting discounted “artists’ rates” on the lifts needed for the project.

Lifts For Artists Was Created Because the Equipment Industry Has the Desire and Means to Make a Positive Impact Among Communities Throughout the U.S.

The focus of the program is on public artwork and cultural events because they add significant value to the aesthetic, cultural, and economic viability of neighborhoods. Local creative projects also foster a sense of belonging and community pride.

Featured Lifts For Artists Participant: OHR Rents

Located in Cleveland, Ohio, OHR Rents was the first rental yard to join Lifts For Artists. Within the first three months of launching the program, the company:

  • Supported the creation of 3 finished murals
  • Became a sponsor of Graffiti HeArt’s “How Do I Love Thee” mural project of approximately 15 small, medium, and large-scale murals throughout the greater Cleveland area. LA-based street artist, WRDSMTH, is the featured artist.
  • Has 4 additional murals and 1 sculpture on the schedule
  • Is quoting 18 upcoming mural projects by different local artists

We asked Don Bear, OHR Rent’s sales manager, why they joined Lifts For Artists and how it has impacted their organization. Don replied, “We have always been interested in engaging with and supporting our community. We have participated in food drives, local fundraisers, and other causes in the past, but the connections we’ve made through this program have been amazing. We’re proud to be a part of some unique, creative contributions to our community, and we’re becoming a household name with people who had never heard of us before. Lifts For Artists has been a win-win-win for the artists, the residents who enjoy the artwork, and our business.”

OHR Rents is a family-owned and operated rental yard and equipment dealer that competes with nationally-known competitors through unmatched customer care and reliability. OHR specializes in construction equipment rentals, sales, service, and OSHA & ANSI Certified training.
