FleetNow is proud to announce that Elijah Dollarhide, an accomplished student at Ferris State University, has been selected as the 2025 recipient of the FleetNow Construct Your Future Scholarship. Elijah is currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management and is passionate about advancing the skilled trades industry through hands-on experience and community impact.

Elijah Dollarhide’s dedication to construction and community shines through both his academic accomplishments and extracurricular involvement. A Construction Management student at Ferris State University, Elijah is excelling in the university’s Honors Program with a 3.58 GPA. Through internships with Owen Ames Kimball and Triangle Associates, he has gained hands-on experience in blueprint reading, construction estimating, and BIM software—skills that form a strong foundation for his future in the field.

Beyond the classroom, Elijah is a committed campus leader. He serves as an Honors Mentor and plays an active role in the Associated Construction Club, contributing to local service projects like home repairs and volunteer builds. He also leads Real Life, a student ministry group that fosters connection and support on campus.

Elijah’s passion for the trades runs deep. His long-term vision includes working for a major mechanical contractor specializing in plumbing and electrical systems before eventually launching a family-owned business with his father, a licensed plumber. Grounded in a desire to build both structures and stronger communities, Elijah is determined to use his skills to make a lasting impact.

At FleetNow, we believe in the power of education and the potential of young minds to shape the future of the heavy equipment industry. The FleetNow Construct Your Future Annual Scholarship was established in 2023 with the goal of assisting exceptional students like Elijah Dollarhide achieve their educational and career aspirations.

We are now taking applications for the 2026 FleetNow Construct Your Future Scholarship. We will again be awarding a $1,000 scholarship to a selected student applicant for use toward their degree or certification. One student will be selected per year.

To qualify for the FleetNow Construct Your Future Annual Scholarship, applicants must:

• Be a high school or undergraduate student pursuing a higher education in a heavy-equipment related field.
• Submit a 500+ word essay or a 2-minute video detailing who the applicant is, their future goals, and how they plan to reach those goals.
