According to Google Trends, “Scissor Lift” searches were popular in the following states:

  1. Idaho
  2. North Dakota
  3. Nebraska
  4. Wisconsin
  5. Oklahoma

“Boom lift” searches were popular in:

  1. Wisconsin
  2. Arkansas
  3. Iowa
  4. Kansas
  5. Tennessee

“Skid steer” searches were hot in:

  1. South Dakota
  2. Wyoming
  3. North Dakota
  4. Montana
  5. Iowa

And, although the ANSI safety standards for lifts implemented in June calls for the switch from Aerial Work Platforms (AWP) to Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP), Google searches for “AWP” and “Aerial Work Platform” far exceed those for MEWP and “Mobile Elevating Work Platform.”
