Scholarship Details
Who is Eligible To Apply?
High school and undergraduate students in the U.S. who are pursuing an education or career in a heavy equipment-related field or skilled trade. This includes, but is not limited to, areas such as heavy equipment operation, construction technology, civil engineering, industrial technology, project or construction management, automotive technology, and other trade programs connected to the heavy equipment industry.
What is Needed to Apply?
Required is a 500+ word essay submission or a 2-minute video submission detailing who you are, your career goals, and how you plan to reach those goals.
How Much is Awarded?
$1,000 in tuition assistance is awarded and will be paid directly to the school.
When is the Deadline to Apply?
The deadline to apply is May 1, 2026.
When is the Recipient Announced?
The scholarship recipient will be announced on June 1, 2026.

As a Construction Management student in the Honors Program at Ferris State University, Elijah has demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and a deep commitment to the skilled trades. With hands-on experience from top internships, active involvement in student organizations, and a clear vision to one day start a family business in the plumbing and mechanical trades, Elijah embodies the future of the construction industry.
